Hope For Crohn's® 5K Family Fun Run/Walk Festival

​COURSE DESCRIPTION: Run/Walk course is 3.1 miles to 1.13 miles depending on age group on a path out/and back, in/around the park. See details below. 


START TIME: 8:30am (PST) 

END TIME: 1:00pm (PST)

FIELD SIZE: Limited to total 1500 participants. Registration will close when limit is reached.

Age: Adults 18+ yrs old, Juniors 16-17 yrs old, and Youth 7-15 yrs old

Cost: $50-$75 for Adults 18+ yrs old
          $25-$50 for Juniors 17-16 yrs old
          $25-$50 for Youth 15-7 yrs old


RUN DetailsRun course is a scenic path in/and around the park.

WALK Details: Walk course is on a paved walkway in/and around the park.

Hope For Crohn's Race Management Team, volunteers , City Police, and Park Rangers will provide traffic control to keep runners and walkers safe. There will be an aid station at the Finish line with water, energy drink, and energy bar. Transition will be in the main field adjacent to the parking lot. There will be an aid station in the transition with water, electrolyte drink and energy bar. Run finishes in main field near the main stage. 

Body marking: TriTat numbering system will be used. All athletes must have their TriTats numbers on before checking into Transition. TriTats numbers are assigned to each athlete and included in their race packet.

MANDATORY BRIEFING: All athletes must attend mandatory briefing at the main stage at 7:30am.

Recovery Area:Upon reaching the Finish Line, all athletes will receive a finisher medal. Then, athletes must keep walking straight up to the Recovery Area, where there will be medical attention tents, electrolyte drinks, water, ice, post race meal and rest areas.

AWARDS: All participants will receive a Hope For Crohn's finishers medal.  Top 3 finishers (Male^ and Female^) will receive a place medal (1st Place, 2nd Place, 3rd Place).

PACKET PICK-UP: All participants race packets will be available for pick-up at designated location or shipped to participants registration address up to 14-days before race day at a cost to participant (No exceptions). NO PACKET PICKUP ON RACE DAY.

REFUNDS: NO Refunds. Before you register for this event, understand there are NO REFUNDS.We understand circumstances can prevent you from racing, such as work schedules,emergencies and injuries so we offer transfers of your paid entry until July 5, 2023. We will not be able to accommodate ANY circumstances after that date.


NO WALK-IN REGISTRATION. IT IS ONLY AVAILABLE ON SPECIAL PROMOTION DATES. SEE DETAILS TO THE RIGHT.

Registration includes a post-race meal, electrolyte drink, energy bar, water, expo & music.

There is no fundraising requirement to participate.

Hope For Crohn's will pay for entry per athlete in exchange for raising the minimum fundraiser requirement. Race incentives will be shipped to participants registered address upon following confirmation that fundraiser minimum, has been met.

Athletes who choose to participate in fundraising program have a minimum fundraiser requirement of $385.00 by the turn-in date of July 5th, 2023 to help us reach our goal of $30,000 to fund Crohn's research and outreach and education programs in our community.

​Fundraising can be easy. We encourage you to create a fundraising page. You can also collect $5 from 10 friends, $2.5 from 20 friends, $2 from 25 friends, etc. to help you.  We accept  employee matching gifts from any of our donors. If you have questions about how to do this at your job, contact your Human Resources or Benefits staff.  If you choose to fundraise, the registration category is Fundraiser.
